Sausage Brussels Bake w/Maple Mustard Drizzle
1 lb Bacon
14 oz Sliced Smoked Sausage
2 lb Brussels Sprouts
½ Cup Honey Mustard
½ Cup Real Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tsp Pepper
1 Tsp Salt
Preheat oven to 375°.
Step 1. Prepare brussels sprouts by trimming stem ends and cutting in half or quarters, depending on size. Place in a zip lock bag with 2 Tbsp Olive Oil and 1 Tsp each of salt and pepper. Toss until well coated, and transfer to a 9x13 baking pan.
Step 2. Cut a 14 0z package of smoked sausage into ½ inch slices. Add to pan of brussels sprouts and toss together.
Step 3. Slice bacon into small pieces, (app ½ inch). Sprinkle on top of brussels sprouts mixture. Do not mix in. Place onmiddle rack in a 375° oven for 30 mins. Remove from oven and stir together. Return to oven and bake for 10 moreminutes. It's finished baking when sprouts are tender.
Whisk together ½ cup honey mustard and ½ cup maple syrup. Serve alongside your beautiful Sausage Brussels Bake.
This bake and drizzle can be prepared up to three days ahead of time and stored covered in the refrigerator.
